I didn't realize how big the Travis County Expo Center was until it was packed with
1,000's of hot rod seekers and 100's of rides. Not to mention the dozens of vendors, which filled one building
spilling over to the swap meet area. Dynamite Dames Photography was giving out Pin-up touch-ups by Vintage flair. Wisconsin Skinny, Queen Kitty, Poisoned Creations, Deadbeat Magazine, and Rockabilly Magazine were all giving out a hell of a bargain. Oh, and the bands, they played at one end of the rodeo arena and the mini bikes
ended up racing at the other end. The line-up; Dale Watson, Marti Brom, The Original Elvis Tribute, Ted Roddy &
guests, and James Burton. The party continued and ended up at Joe's Coffee and The Continental Club.

But back to the car show, there was literally everything you can think of. I know I'm from
the Midwest but damn, there were rides I've never seen. Everywhere you looked, so many different attitudes, these rodders
definitely put a lot of themselves into these rides. I'll be marking this 3-day event on my calendar for next year because
one day is just not enough to take it all in. ~XoXo ~~Che'z
